Eleshna caught the man's gazed and returned it with a slight glare, though she hadn't really meant to. Giving an apologetic look, she turned her gaze forward again.
Eleshna's hands trembled upon the reins, and she clenched them into tight fists to stop it. Trying to take her mind off what had happened and what might happen, she turned to Jaden. "When do you think we shall find the Maithiliat?" she questioned quietly.

Jaden turned his head towards Eleshna, indicating that he would not say anything, but would leave the decision of answering the man up to her.
After all it did concern her more than him.
