The blending is great!
I would suggest not useing a shadow under the text though.

I was trying to make it look like the shadow of the letters from the sun.

Thats beautiful! Good choice of text.
And unlike Elle and SM, I like the shadow under the text. 
It makes it stand out from the blend, so its just that little bit easier to read.
