Miscellaneous Randomness is a great place to just hang out and get to know people. There are some graphics sections and if you do any kind of graphic making, thre's the place to be. We also have some area's for discussing movies and book. If you want tro discuss specific stuff, there's the Club section where you can join clubs on your interests. AU has some RPG, so if that's your thing you can go there. And of course there are the LOTR sections where you can discuss lotr movies and books.

Misc. Randomness is also a great place to accumulate total post counts quick without breaking the rules. 
The Clubs section is always nice, be in a club with people who have the same fandom as yourself.
