I'm glad you've decided to make graphics again!
King: I think this is lovely and simple! I'm curious as to what the subtext says though? I can't read it....or rather, it's not readable...But it is very artistic, I'm sure people use that to make viewers squint and observe the icon more.  Which is tricky and smart! I also like the capture of Aragorn's expression, of that shock/realization about what's happening. Great job, as always!
Pippin: An even MORE simple one. It's breathtaking what you can do with a simple picture. I've always really like those artistic pictures where it's a cropped selection of a side of someone's face, I think it's just a really interesting kind of artwork, and I tend to do icons like that as well. I also like the very small unnoticeable tinge you gave it.

Ah, yes, I should have reworded that whole graphics thing. I don't think I will do requests again, but I suppose I will continue posting works, as that is in my better interest. I didn't find requests all that fun to do, because, as I saw in many threads that did not post much rules, most people just ran in and claimed 3 or 4 banners, then when they got it, didn't do anything with them. So YES I shall resume posting graphics, but not to any request.
As for the tiny text, it says "King of Gondor" but it was meant to be not legible, so...

That says King of Gondor [squints] --- it looks too long to be "King of Gondor" >.>
Or is it because I'm blind?

[squee] I loved that line...."And Beauty Stayed His Hand" ---- what a great icon, ~Twippo. And I love the gold tinge to it.
The first icon is also really great, simple, but the words and the expression match perfectly.
