Jack's eyes swayed over to look at Portia's face, "Id be-bedder..or I'll k-kill ye.." His tongue was still numb, but his lips started to tingle as did the rest of his body feel a ringing sensation.

Devina frowned "Whatever." She goit up, and slammed the cabin door so hrd, it nearly flew of its hinges. Ooops. She had a temper now... After shouting at a few crew members to get on with it, she settled up on the mast.

Jack tried to sit up in bed, but with much difficulty. He reached back and touched the wound, but still couldn't feel much, so it didn't hurt. He saw Devina storm out the door like a mad women, and he eyed Portia suspiciously, "What's a matter with the both of ye dames?"

Portia shook her head and leaned against a nearby table. "It's nothin'. Things ave' just been a bit different round ere. And, I don't think that Devina likes it too much." She looked to the ground, and bit her lip. "Truthfully... neither do I."

Jack sighed and his dark eyes fell to look at the floor. He scartched his arm nervously in the silence, and sniffed before he said, "I don't understand ye." His eyelids lifted up before his eyes stared at the girl he was knew.

Portia slowly looked up to him and sighed, sadly. "I don't think ya e'er will, Jack. Maybe, if a miracle..." She shook her head. "I've always been a fool for that." She stood up straight and walked towards her equipment, putting it all away.

Jack stood up slowly, gaining his balance. "Just what is that exactly supposed to mean young missy?" His eyes looked upset as so did his body language. But his last words to her sounded like the old Jack.

Portia smiled a little, and closed her eyes trying not to cry. "Nothing..." She said silently, as her voice broke. She covered her mouth, and silently cried. Everything that she had ever dreaded, had happened. And it was all of her fault.

Portia shook her head, violently. "It's not you Jack, it's me... everything is my fault." She covered her face, and cried more. She let herself sink to the floor, and slump over. She couldn't believe she was crying this much.

Jack's eyes widened, "So it's your fault?!" He raised a brow while the other one looked angry. "Ye did this to my head?!" He pointed to the back of his head. "If ye are the one, then why don't ye just kill me now!" His voice was so loud, that the crew above could hear the yells of Sparrow.

"I'VE HAD IT!" His voice was in his Captain tone again. He turned and grabbed Portia by the shoulders and whipped her around to face him, "You STOP cryin'! I HATE IT when dames cry! STRAIGHTEN UP!" He let go of his grip and stomped over to Devina and leaned into her face, "You!" He pointed a finger in her face, "SHUTUP!" His eyes looked crazed but his voice sounded threatening.
