Story:
Tonks was consulting the cookbook when a high pitched screeching came from the stove. Looking up she saw the pot overflow over the side.

"Need any help, dear?" Lupin called from the living room.

"I'm... doing... just... fine.." She answered in short breaths. She was wrestling the ham into the oven, it was resisting her forcefully.

Lupin picked up another newspaper and sighed and opened it up as he heard loud banging coming from the kitchen. 'S'pose it's much more safe out here...'


'Blasted ham. You'd think once you're dead, you wouldn't be much more trouble...' Tonks heaved it up and pushed it in. "There we go....." She stood up straight and the oven door slammed shut stripping 10 years of her life off. "Oh, bloo---"

"Anything wrong, dear?"

"No, nothing. Don't you realize cooking is a brutal task with hardships and labor until you reach your goal?!"

"Molly never made so much noise when she was working brutally hard to reach hers." Lupin said. "Dear." He added before his head was suddenly unattached and was served on a plate at the next Headless Hunt.

"Molly has 7 kids, a Harry Potter, a muggle-fascinated husband, and millions of animals to make noises to block it out."
