Jack's neck whipped to the side after she punched him. Boy, she did throw a good punch at him. His nose started to bleed, but he shook it off and his eyes widened at her, "Why you..." He then threw a hard punch right back at her, except this one hit her jaw, making one of her teeth loose.

Portia wiped her tears away and slapped both of them. "KNOCK IT OFF!!!" She screamed. She pointed to Jack, and glared angrily. "I HATE YA, JACK SPARROW!" She felt more tears come, and she ran up to the deck. She sat in the crows nest, and pulled her legs up to her chest.

Jack stared as the woman ran up the stairs in tears. His eyebrows curved upwards in confusion. He was already upset about the whole day and he yelled back up at her, "STOP CALLIN' ME BY THAT NAME!" He looked like a child throwing a fit.
After a few moments Jack walked over by the bed where a mirror was. He stared into it with dark eyes and with disgust. "Who am I?" He whispered under his breath. He touched his beard and examined every peice of jewlery that was in his hair. A sudden thought came into his mind and he started pulling out the drawers below the mirror, looking for something.

Portia was hating her life at this moment in time, most definetely. First, she flew off the ship by fixing a sail in the middle of a storm. Which, was a stupid idea in the first place. Then, she had proceeded in getting Jack to go under water with her. And now he's completely clueless as to where he is and who he is. Yep, things were absolutely going bad for her at the moment. Because, everything happened because of her!
Portia wiped the tears away from her face and sighed. She took a deep breath and slowly stood up in the crow's nest. She leaned her body weight on the edge of it, and looked out into the gorgeous horizon, sadly.

Jack didn't pay any attention to Devina's words. He searched the drawers frantically until finally he yanked out what he was looking for. A pair of scissors. "Ah hah!" He looked in the mirror and started chopping off his locks with a crazed smirk on his face.

Portia sighed and bit her lip. She hadn't meant what she had said to Jack. She was just upset. Not even by him... by herself. She slowly climbed down the rope and walked across the deck, towards Jack's room. She knocked on the door and then opened it. "Jack, I'm-" She stopped talking, once she saw what he was doing. Her eyes widened.

By the time Portia came into the room, Jack was rubbing his face with a hot wet towel. He had shaved off his beard, and his hair was now cut short above the ears. He felt his smooth face and looked in the mirror and said to himself, "Ah, there you are! Brilliant!"

Portia tried to speak, but no words could reach her mouth. She was absolutely speechless. She never would've thought that Jack would go this far. She looked to Devina and then back to Jack. She looked like a frightened deer in front of a car.

Jack just kept staring at himself in the mirror with a half grin. He also kept touching his smooth face and said to himself, "Ah, that's better!" In his mind, he looked quite handsome.

Jack didn't respond again to the others but just turned around to meet the shocked faces of the women. He frowned his eyebrows and made his eyes big not wanting to believe that they didn't approve of his new look.

Portia raised her eyebrows a little more, and then looked over his face more fully. She had to admit, it didn't look half bad. But, it was so different than the old Jack look. She sighed and smiled. "I like it." She folded her arms, and watched him.
