Menelmacar ran as fast as he could, glancing back every now and then to see if any of the Haradrim had followed. He was an elf, an Avari elf to be exact. His kind were called the Moriquendi, for they were the race that did not see the Light of Valinor. He was roughly 6'9", with dark skin. His hair was jet balck, and it went to his shoulders. He wore Moriquendi hunter's clothes. They helped him stay out of sight when he did not want to, thus he was able to do the most damage when needed. The color of his clothes were black, letting him be hidden when in the shadows.
Menelmacar clasped his horn, or rather, the Horn of Harad. It was brilliant what he'd done. Snuck into Harad's most guarded palace, stole the sacred Horn, and got away scitch free! He was a master of Stealth Attacks, Stealth moves, or anything else that could be done with Stealth.
'To Gilraen!' he thought. 'There, I will be safe for a time. I need to find some help, atleast two men to help me get this Horn to Dale safely! There it can be destroyed, thus giving The Free Peoples of Middle-Earth the advantage over Harad, for we are at War!'
<--------->
Over the last decade, Harad had launched a War against Gondor in hopes of gaining back their land just North of Anduin. They had gained much land, but not yet had they gone so far as Lebennin. Soon enough though, it would begin, the most horrible assault ever! Maybe even the Easterling would aid Harad, for the thought of Sauron was still in their minds.
It has been over twnty Human years since Sauron was defeated by Aragorn and Frodo, and all the graceful members of the Great Fellowship. Menelmacar had lived through it all!

Rhayader watched the elf fly past the trees, running toward his hidden position. His green hood was covered in mud and moss to better help him blend in with the ground he layed on. As the dark elf ran closer Rhayader slowly rose to one knee and knotched an arrow.
The stranger got within thirty feet and Rhayader loosed an arrow, then quickly knotched another. the hardened man knew better to shoot first ask questions later so he aimed to miss and hit a tree just in front of the stranger.
"Who goes there?!"
Rhayader kept the arrow drawn and tense.

Menelmacar suddenly got tense as he slid to a halt. "Who goes there?" someone asked. Menelmacar couldn't see if anyone was there. The forest had plenty of darkness and shadows. "'Tis only I, a lone traveler!" He said as he backed into a shadow.
To anyone else's eyes Menelmacar would've vanished suddenly, but he'd only adapted himself quickly to his surrounding, making him seem invisible. It was a trick he had mastered, and only he, for he was the only living thing in Arda who could do it.
Menelmacar's eyes flicked over the scenery quickly, trying to spot his assailant. Being one from darkness, Menelmacar could see through camouflage, though it took most of his concentration to use it. Thus, it was one of his weaknesses. There he was! A man in a green hunting uniform, one of a ranger. Ofcourse if it was anyone at, but Menelmacar had to be certain.

Rhayader half closed his eyes, trying to increase his focus.
"Where'd he go?" He whispered to himself.
He turned on the spot keeping the bow tense and ready to fire. He had been out in the wild for a long time, he could have been imagining things in the dark. No. He heard a voice reply. Rhayader slowly rose to a hunched over posistion and slowly walked to where he the voice from.
He came to the area he thought he heard him and ducked back down again.
"Who are you?"

There it was, Menelmacar had seen the man stand up and move! He quickly moved to a position behind the Ranger and drew a long, curved knife, an heirloom of his family! He brought it to the man's neck then said, "If you speak wisely you may live! Who are you?"
The man turned and looked at Menelmacar, "My name is Rhayadar!" he said in a sure tone. This man seemed like someone who could handle trouble! So Menelmacar asked a question that might save his own life. First though, he brought the knife away from Rhayader's neck, "Would you be willing to come with me on an adventure? I need help protecting this Horn, the Horn of Harad to be exact!"
"As a ranger, you should most certainly be up to the task!" Menelmacar knew that with that last input, he had grabbed the man's attention. He was glad to know that he'd have some company! Though he'd have to rest first, for using his ability made him ever so weary. "No matter what you say, I must rest first! That trick I pulled to disappear takes alot of my strength..."

Rhayader loosened his bow string and lowered it so it aimed at the ground.
"You have my intrest elf."
He raised a brow.
"The horn of Harad? I hear they cherrish such an item, and how would a simple elf be able to aquire such a well protected talisman?"
He threw his bow onto his back and crossed his arms. How couldhe trust this elf. He didn't look like the elves he had heard of, espicaly when compared to Queen Arwen.

Enyalie sighed wearily. It felt like she had been travelling for weeks on end, her horse was tired and walked with heavy steps, she could feel the fatigue in her very being. It was times like these when she thought of home.
However, all these thoughts vanished, leaving only lingering emotion, when she heard low voices ahead of her. She tilted her head, ears pricked to hear better. But still, the voices remained too low to be deciphered from this distance.
Warily, she brushed off the remnant of her weariness, alert as she lightly tapped her heels to the horse's flank. With little doubt, she silently drew her sword from its delicate sheath, whispering a soft prayer to Elbereth as she gazed ahead.

Deawen did not like this talk of protecting this strange relic the darker side of her pushed it's way through and she though "maybe i could take the relic? it could be worth something?" Deawen though about it she streched out on the limb then lowered her self down then vanished and appeared again behind the one with the horn. her skilled hands slowlylifted the horn Deawen took out a small knife and cut away part of the strap. Deawen tried to cut the strap faster but did not wish to risk a sound.

Devainhel rode along side Enyalie, when Enyalie drew her sword Devainhel drew hers as well. She followed her companion wondering what awaited them.
So far her life had been a string of difficult choices, now with her friend they plowed through the brush to see what had been causing the noises.
It had been so long since they left home and now weary from traveling Devainhel thought it would have been better to ignore the voices and go on their way.
