Jaden motioned to knox to stop the process, but to be ready to start again if they found Veron was decieving them.

Jaden moved closer to Eleshna to see if she was alright, being carefull not to be caught off guard she was still being controled by Veron.

Eleshna's breathing eased slightly and she kept her head bowed and eyes closed. "I'm sorry.... " she spoke quietly, "I'm sorry I've pulled you into this.... you should never have made the deal with him.... " she took a deep breath then let it out in a shuddering sigh.

"It's ok, we will find some way to get you free of him." Jaden assured her, still not quite sure who he was talking to. "It could be a trap." he thought to himself.

Eleshna looked up, seeing the doubt in Jaden's eyes still, and dropped her gaze again. how can I be trusted now... how can I trust myself, with Veron in control...

She looked towards her sword then Jaden. "Jaden ... there is one way, but it is uncertain but .... " Eleshna looked down again, "it is worth a try..."

"With your powers... can you bring someone back to life?" she looked at him, a desperate glint in her eyes.

"I could under the right cercomstances and with a little help yes... but are you sure you want to do that?" he replied.

"I will do all I can to bring you back... But I can not kill you." he told her.

Eleshna looked at him, then looked at her sword. "I... " she hesitated, then flinched, hearing Veron's voice in her mind. You can't do it and you never could. You're not strong enough without my control and you never will be...

She closed her eyes tightly, muttering through clenched teeth to Veron, "watch me... " She took the dragon dagger from Jaden and held the point over her heart.

(*shifty eyes* *hates suicides* ... )

Eleshna kept her eyes closed, biting her lower lip. Cursing Veron under her breath, she plunged the dagger in and gasped.

Falling to her side, Eleshna took a few gasps of breaths and let out a long shuddering breath. Her grip on the dagger slipped and she remained still while a harsh and sudden wind whipped up and around those that stood there.

The remains of the Maithiliat crumbled strangely from the wind and the remnants drifted off across the land. Then all went still, as the heaviness in the air that had been there was lifted and pulled away with the wind.

Jaden spoke to Knox and the two began imediately working on gettin gEleshna back.

It would take all his power and then some.

Knox had some power, but it would take more. Knox put his hands on the sword and the dager that Veron had given Jaden after Jaden hesatently pulled the blade from Eleshna.

There power streamed out and into Knox, who was funneling all his power into Jaden.

Jaden concentrated, pooling his power for one massive undertaking that would tax his body to the limmits.

The white light once more began to shine bright, only brighter than before. Shining so bright Knox and Jaden both were forced to close there eyes.
For nearly two houres they sat there not moving, concentrating and pouring out power.

Finaly Jaden herd Eleshna take a large breath, as if comming up from underwater after nearly suficating.

Jaden rushed the remainder of his power into her, assuring that Veron could in no way get a grip on her once more.

Then He fell over on to the ground and his eyes drifted shut as he saw Eleshna's eyes open.
The events had taxed him harshly, his body was sick and tiered. But it had worked, Eleshna was alive.

(nope, I'm not the type to change anyone's reaction to things ^^ I'm shy about it, and shy about powerplaying. lol)

Eleshna gasped and coughed, rolling to her side and eventually coming to her knees beside Jaden.

"Jaden..." She put a hand on his arm and looked to be sure he was breathing. "I'm sorry... " she spoke softly, bowing her head and closing her eyes breifly.

When Eleshna opened her eyes she smiled slightly. "It worked" She spoke to Knox, "Once we get Jaden to recover, we'll have the ability to kill Veron... the bond is broken, and he should be very ill now, but it would possibly take only a week or less for Veron to recover."

She lowered her gaze to Jaden, while remaining kneeled down beside him. "Thank you... " she spoked quietly as she stared at him for a while, a look of guilt yet gratefullness on her face.

Pulling her satchel towards her, Eleshna removed a phial of clear liquid. "Water of Valinor.... I recieved it from a friend. It should help give him some strength"

She tipped a little into his mouth after supporting him behind the shoulders with one arm, hoping he would swallow it on his own. Eleshna felt guilt ridden.

Jaden was able to swollow the water, but little else.

Slowly he looked to Knox saying "The code." The strange words filtering through his teath in a muffled sound.

Kox seemed to know what it ment though.

It would be a few days before Jaden was able to travel again. mostly he needed rest and the proper care.

"He could die from that if we didn't have theese herbs Knox commented to himself. But the medicen Knox had, Eleshna's help, and a good rest would be a sure cure.

Eleshna pulled an extra blanket from her satchel and placed it over Jaden. She sat back against a tree for a while, a worried expression on her face.

"I really shouldn't have done that... after all he's done for me... I thought and reacted on instinct only," she commented half to Knox half to herself.

"He would do it again you know." Knox looked at her.

"The code..." he began to explain. "Where we came frome before entering this world we had what we called The Code. One of it's principles was that we are all to help eachother, place others before ourselves."

Then to the surpise of both who sat there Jaden's voice was herd.

"You have had a harder life than I..." Jaden spoke softly, "I only hope that in some small way I can make up for the troubles I have caused." Jaden said before passing out once more.

Eleshna bowed her head as Knox spoke, then looked at Jaden, listening to him.

"You have caused no trouble, Jaden.... this would have happened sometime or another..." she spoke quietly, though not sure if he could hear her.

Eleshna placed her hand on his forhead, and using the skills she had learned from Veron, the only skills she was thankful for, she whispered in an ancient tongue from the beginning of the existance of middle earth, and did her best to send strength through to Jaden.

With Eleshna's help Jaden once more came too.

"We need to go." he commented, sitting up.

Something else slipped off his toung, smething Eleshna didn't catch.
Something about the code, Veron, and the punishment for the one who released him.
