i know this sounds weird but for some time now i have had my txt like this:

and i want to know how do i get it so it's like this:

i have PSP version 9 if that helps.

Well, I have PSP7 so I don't know how similar the two are, but you can try this: open up the text panel, look to the left, and under Stroke, click the arrow and set it to the crossed-out circle. Then click on the arrow under Fill and set it to a solid color. Good luck!

Ehm...try setting the stroke width to 0. I'm not sure if that will work; I don't have much experience with PSP 9.

If it disappears, it *could* be because you have the fill color set to white, so without a border it completely blends into a white background....but I'm not sure.
