"You..you like it?" Jack raised an eyebrow at Porita who was looking at him. He rubbed his face once more out of habit and gave a slight smirk towards her ignoring the words of Devina once again.

Portia nodded in response to Jack's words. Portia looked towards Devina and glared. "Isn't there a deck that needs swabbing, Devina?" She folded her arms. "Everything that comes out of yer mouth is negative. I'm gettin' rather tired of it." She sighed.

Jack's eyes searched Portia's face as she turned her head to look at Amara. For some reason, he felt some sort of relationship between him and her beginning. He gave her a smirk with a slight squint of the eyes.

Portia sighed again and looked back to Jack, noticing him smirking at her. She smirked back and looked over his face one last time. "I really do like it. It's good for a fresh start." She smiled happily and then patted his arm softly.
She then slowly walked towards the door. She stopped in front of it, and then looked over her shoulder to look back to him. "If ya need me, I'll be up on deck." She then left.

Portia walked on deck and leaned against the railing to look out at the ocean. She sighed happily and rested her head on her hand. "Hmmm..." She said, underneath her breath. For some reason, Jack was on her mind.
