I love the little things in these movies and I thought it should have a thread. This is a thread for all the really subtle things people have noticed when watching this movie.
For instance, one of my favorite things is watching Eomer's sword fall out when he's leaving the 3 hunters.
Another one of my favorites is Aragorn's cloak only being halfway on his body when he walks into helm's deep. It's the funniest thing!

Ooh! I just remembered something else! In the scene where Elrond comes into Arwen's room and does his death speech, there's a banner with Laurelin and Telperion on the wall. It isthe coolest thing ever, and it makes me very happy!

I really need to watch for that next time. That would be so cool, I have always loved the two trees for some reason. The story behind the elves who kidn of "Took their places" as the sun and moon was always one of my favorite from the Silmarilion as well as the whole story of Yavanna and how she created the trees etc...

There's also a stone in fangorn that looks exactly like a sundial. You see it when the Ents are gathering for Entmoot.

That's cool, I think I have noticed the stone but I did not realize it was a sundial type thing. Huh, I will have to look that up! lol
