"Lately I’ve been experimenting with different AI tools for writing reports and fixing up PDFs, and WPS AI caught my eye because it’s built right into the office suite I already use. I’m curious how stable it is for longer documents, especially when you mix text with tables or pasted images. Sometimes AI tools look great in demos but behave weirdly in real work situations. Has anyone here tried it for something more than quick note

I’ve actually been using WPS AI for a couple of months, mostly for rewrites and cleaning up messy PDF exports from clients. What surprised me is that it handles formatting better than I expected. For example, I had a 14-page policy draft with scattered comments, and the AI managed to reorganize the structure without stripping out my headings. The PDF tools also held up—merging scanned pages and converting to editable text didn’t break the layout like some converters do.
If you want to see how they present the AI tools officially, the overview on wps gives a decent sense of what’s included, though real usage varies depending on how chaotic your files are. I’d say it's reliable enough if you double-check the output, especially when working with legal or financial language. But for everyday writing, it’s been surprisingly steady for me.

Jumping in to say I’ve had mixed results, mostly depending on how complicated the document is. Simple memos and short PDFs come out clean, but once you throw in multi-column layouts or weirdly encoded scans, it needs a bit of manual correction. Still, for a built-in tool, it’s not bad at all, and it saves time when you just need quick structure or clarity fixes.
