[does a monkey dance]
I've recently read a book for English class called Night by Elie Wiesel, it's written from the author's point of view and it recounts his journey going from his home from Sighet in Transylvania to the concentration camps. It's very.....detailed and cringe-filled.

*goes into a corner to pout* eh, I'm not on the member list yet....
George Washington is an American hero, and not everyone here is American. I say Julius Caesar or Alexander the Great. we could do a separate banner for each time period. just a thought....

Hey, I'm doing History Day this year...
And I chose a very narrow subject:
Shirtwaist Worker's Strike (also known as the Uprising of the 20,000) and the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire.
I'm stuck reading the same things over...and over...and over again.
I haev exhausted the internet's resources. Anyone know of any good books?

about the romans... did they ever had a two headed eagle? I am not sure, but they had an eagle on their flag or symbol thingy... the two headed eagle was used by the russians at least...

it might have been the russians...we were in Lithuania and our History teacher was telling us about the eagle, and i'm sure he said romans...
