Reia looked at Harry, "She needs someone to go get her. NO!" she shouted as Harry moved to get up, "You don't need to get any more hurt."


Cindy kept running with Mandy, getting tired and fearing that the man would catch up with them. Finally, she slowed to a walk...she was getting too tired...

Harry groaned.

Reia nodded. "Just make it quick. I sense her fear...and pain."



Cindy was breathing hard from fear, anxiety, and fatigue. She was getting hot, tired...her muscles were fatigued...she was sweating, so tired...she tripped over a rock, and her ankle screamed with pain. She must almost have been at the school...she looked up. The tall building loomed into view. She nodded to herself and kept running - she finally burst into the medical wing, panting.

Soon, they led her and Amanda into the same room as the others. She had a bandage on her arm and was waiting for them to come wrap her ankle, though she insisted that she was fine.

"What happend." Harry asked.

Ben sat down on Cheyenne bed. "So your telling me, that sence I gallaped in, the lightseber just flew and cut you leg." Ben said, in the middle of their conversation. "I saved you life, most likly."

Cheyenne laughed. "So, do you mind telling me how you got those stitches in you face."

"Blaster scorce." Ben said. "But I want to know what happend when Cindy went out there." They all looked at her.

Cindy raised her eyebrows as everyone looked at her, then rolled her eyes, shook her head, and looked down, massaging her ankle. "I was following you guys, then I saw Amanda get knocked unconscious. I couldn't leave her - he was carrying her off. I landed, transformed, took him down, picked her up, and ran off. I called Reia to ask for one of you to come get me - I was tired. But, I just kept running, walking, then running...I was driven by fear, they say that fear or panic can help you do amazing things....then, before I knew it, I was here, so I just came in myself." She looked up at them. "Happy?"

"I was on my way." Ben said

"And they wouldent let me go." Harry said.

"No," Cindy laughed, "No, I didn't mean it like that, you guys...I'm fine, don't worry about me. I'm just a little tired. And you-" - she nodded toward Harry - "I wouldn't have <i>wanted</i> you to go - you're still hurt." She went slightly pink, "Anyway, I'm glad you're okay."

"I just cant belived I lied to you." Harry said. "It was a large gash, which was infected. And I got from falling off Buckbeak."

Cindy nodded slowly, then looked at Reia, who nodded and walked away. Cindy looked at Harry, then down, and quietly said, "Harry...while we're on the topic...I told you once that I was confused about how I felt, but today it all became clear." She looked up at him and said, "I love you, Harry."

Cheyenne cleared the throat, which was Ben's signel to close the curtions aroun them, and let them have their privacy.

Harry looked around, and his mouth went dry. "You do..I mean.. I do to..and...er.." He smiled sheaplishly.

Cindy smiled softly, then looked down with a red face. She should have known...she never did such stupid things. She kicked herself mentally, and kept massaging her ankle only to have something to do with her hands...if only Harry would just stop looking at her...she already felt like an idiot...she looked up. "Hey, who closed - oh, don't be dumb!" she said, standing up with her weight on one foot and opening the curtains. She shook her head and sat down again, looking up as a nurse came with gauze.
