Devina looked at Jack again and sighed angrily. She kicked out and caught him in the stomach. When he didnt move she got up, and knelt by his side, feeling his forhead. Her hand snapped up again when she felt the raging fever.

Jack felt a hand touch his forehead and he flinched his eyes as they were shut. His body slightly trembled from the fever. He was covered in cold sweat.

"Good job, Devina," Blackbird called from the other cell. "You yell at me for trying to treat his wound, then go and kick him." She was relieved to find that other than her weapons, nothing had been removed from her belt. Pulling off a small flask, she stuck it between the bars for Devina. "Give him a bit of this," she said quietly. "It's Kelumarian medicine. Tastes horrible, but it should do something for the fever."
((Kelumar's a place they visited in my first fanfic; in short, it's a small island where Blackbird stayed for three years after Bootstrap's death, before joining the crew. They're fairly advanced in medicine-related stuff. BlueEyedGirl4God'll know what I'm talking about, but just so nobdy else is confused.))
