Rachel walked inside her house and into the room that Edward was in. She looked at him for a few seconds and then sighed. She looked the ground and then sat on it.

He stayed in the shadows of the room as Rachel came in. His eyes were lowered to the ground, but he still knew she was in the room. Finally, after some time he said in quiet voice, "Is Kim angry at me?"

"No... I was upset." She said nothing more and just continued staring at the ground. She pulled her legs up to her chest and rested her head on her knees. She felt so alone.

Edward took a step away from the shadows he was hidden in, not to long ago. He looked more pale that he was in the house lighting. One might have wondered if he had even eaten anything at all when he was up in the castle alone. He still stared at Rachel, eyeing her every movement.
(We can use some neighbors,..like Kim could have forgotten that she was hosting a Xmas party in an hour...Ha ha!)

Kim leaned against the wall and looked at the mantle. 6:00...SIX O'CLOCK?! SHE WAS HOSTING A NEIGHBORHOOD PARTY AT SEVEN!!!! She went pale, then rushed upstairs to get dressed and remind the family.

He looked at her with kind eyes, "It's all right.." His voice was so quiet that if Rachel was farther away from him, she wouldn't have heard him.

Edward didn't hug back, afraid he might accidently poke her. His head sharply turned to the direction of the voice coming down the hall, and he immediately recognized it knowing it was Kim's. His eyes seemed to grow happy as his lips curled up in a small sort of smile.
