Wow! I'm the first member!
May I join?
I ADORE Evanescence, because their music is so rich, they can play hard rock and make it beautiful with a violin or a Latin choir!! Moreover I love their lyrics...they can capture so well the feelings that everyone feels!
I LOVE THEM! 8)

Yay! *goes off to add y'all to the member list* What are your favorite Ev songs? I like Bring Me to Life, Hello, and My Last Breath most from "Fallen", and Where Will You Go, Anywhere, Missing, Before the Dawn, and Forgive Me from their older demo stuff.

I love Evanescence. My favorite songs would have to be Bring Me To Life, Going Under, Tourniquet and Hello. W00t! Evanescence rocks! Amy Lee has such a beautiful voice. I'm excited for their new CD but I have no idea when it will finally come out. Urgh I want it to be out right now!

Oh! I love Evanescence! May I join?
They're so different and their song lyrics actually have real meaning behind them. I love how they mix rock and clear musical tones. Amy Lee has such a haunting and beautiful voice. She delivers a great performance. My favorite songs would have to be: My Immortal, Bring Me To Life, Going Under, Everybody's Fool, Missing, Forgive Me and Fallen. She sings in the song Broken as well and it's great.

My fav songs would have to be....
1. My Immortal
2. Tourniquet
3. Bring Me to Life
4. Going Under
5. Haunted
I like Evanescence because there music just gets me going. (I wokr out to the music all the time). If you listen to the lyrics, you will see that they deal with things in your life too. *listens to Going Under* Like with Going Under, we do something so bad that we are fall into a pit where we cannot come out. We have to repent to come out. *hopes that is a good example* Well, that is why I LOVE them!!!

Yay, welcome! MrsDominicMonaghan, I'm not sure about the exact release date of their next album, but I heard they were betting on sometime in November.
Has anyone ever been to EvBoard? It has some strong language, but what's cool about it is that not only the fans post, but the band members post threads too!

Quote: I just joined the EvBoard, are you a member Arwen?
I'm afraid not...I'm a lurker over there But I may join. I'd totally freak though if a band member responded to a post of mine.
I agree, Haunted's a little strange. What's even stranger is I read a quote by Amy saying that Haunted was the most like what they wanted Evanescence to sound like o.O
Ororuthiel, I like Tourniquet and Going Under too! Going Under is kind of my vent song though...if I'm really ticked off about something it helps to blare it VERY loudly. Tourniquet I like for the melody and rhythm, but the subject matter I'm not crazy about Even In Death is cool too, especially the chorus and the guitar solo. Listen to the Rain was one of the first non-Fallen Ev songs I heard, but what I still wonder is whether Amy ever actually sings in it.
Have any of you checked out "Anywhere But Home", their concert DVD? I didn't like the live versions of the songs very much, but the studio remix of "Missing" was amazing. It was also interesting to hear them do a take on Korn's "Thoughtless".

I got "Anywhere But Home" for my birthday in March and drove everyone nuts by listening to it...
Even though you can hardly hear anything, the audience is screaming so loud.
