Bob was trying to get into a suit for the party. It wasn't going well. Finally after much cursing and a bit of tailor work by his wife, he got his pot belly to fit.

Edward now took another step towards the girls, feeling a bit more comfortable around them. His eyes didn't look startled anymore as he said back to Kili, "The castle..."

Rachel nodded to Kili, after Edward said where he was from. She was just assuring her. Rachel cleared her throat, and straightened out her shirt. She walked towards a mirror and pulled her hair up in a ponytail. She had to make sure that she looked okay, when all of the people arrived.

Edward followed Rachel with a quick shuffle of his feet. He didn't want to be left alone. He stood behind her, as she stared in the mirror with curious eyes.

Rachel looked at Edward, through the mirror. She smiled at him and then turned to face him. "Is everything okay?" She looked into his eyes, curious of what was wrong with him. He seemed to be clingy. But, she didn't mind one bit.

Edward's eyes caught Rachel's and he nodded his head in a stiff sort of fashion, "Yes..." His eyes were almost glued to her face.

Rachel smiled more and nodded. "Okay, good. I don't want anything to be wrong with you. I want you to feel safe and happy here." She gently brushed a strand of his hair away, out of his face. She smirked and then shyly looked to the ground.

Finally Edward spoke out of the silence and said in a clear voice, "What is a party?" He started hearing Christmas music being played down stairs and his body slightly jumped at the start of it.

Rachel slowly looked back up and smiled at Edward. "It's like a celebration of something. You invite quite a few people and sing, dance, eat and talk. It's quite fun." She listened to the music that was being played downstairs and her face seemed to glow. She started humming to the tune.

Edward followed Rachel as he swept past the Christmas tree, knocking a glass ornament off. Of course it fell off of the tree, but it did not break for the carpet at saved that from happening.

Rachel had finally made it to the kitchen with Edward. She let go of his wrist and showed him all of the food that was sitting on the counter, waiting to be eaten. "What would you like to try?" She looked to him and smiled.
