Wilkins shrugged arrogantly and said, "Good evening, ladies. Oh, and Cook -" he turned to Miranda, who looked as though she could break the bars to get to him and tear him to pieces - "Don't worry about your little romance. It shall be terminated soon enough." He turned and left.
"What do you mean?" she asked venomously. "What do you mean?!" she cried, "NO! LEAVE HIM ALONE!" She hit the bars violently after she yelled, then walked to the wall, fuming with her arms crossed.
