Devon smiled as she pulled out a box of muffins,"What's up, eh, Cindy?" Devon asked.

"Oh GOSH," said Cindy, digging her hand in. "Not only do we have a HUGE BATTLE - completely unexpected - but HARRY GOES MISSING. So Cheyenne and I go to look for him, right? Well, I go back for this girl Amanda, and end up running back to the school by myself. THEN - get this - I tell Harry that I love him, and he can't say it back! What's UP WITH THAT?! Oh - and someone's been going around cutting our wrists."

Mandy sat thinking for a moment when the nurse came over and spotted the blood on the sheets then the cut on her wrist.
"Oh my what on earth's happened here" she asked, Mandy blushed and she noticed Reia hide her's.
"I must have caught my wrist on somthing last night" Mandy replied knowing what was going through the nurse's mind.
"I didn't self harm if that's what your thinking" Mandy said after a few minuets silence, throwing back the covers and climbing out of bed, feeling furious.
"I wish to leave now, if you don't mind" She continued seeing the shock on the Nurse's face,
"Well Miss i really think.....after the bump.....please i insist you stay one more night" the nurse stammered, mandy shook her head.
"No i'm going to wash and change and leave" she caught Reia's eye before she grabbed her clothes and went to wash and change.

It took a while for Devon to take it all in,"Woah!" Devon gasped, eating a muffin, pulling out a tub of ice cream and two spoons,"I don't understand this with the running away, and what with the wrist cutting?" Devon asked, checking her wrists.

Cindy shook her head. "He didn't run away - he was kidnapped by this psycho who seems to be lurking around campus causing CHAOS....and four of us got our wrists cut last night...presumably for blood."

Devon screeched,"This school is turning into a horror film!" she gasped,"No, first things frst. Has anybody reported these things to the Headmistress? I mean, Harry getting kidnapped, presumebly by the same guy with the wrists? I mean this is serious!"

Cindy made a face and said, "Would you like to do the honors? Anyway..." She wanted to talk about her situation with Harry, but didn't want to bring it up. Oh, well...it wasn't a big deal anyway. "I'll go with you," she said, getting up.

'Hold up!" Devon said,"We haven't sorted out Harry yet!' she pulled her back down and handed her the spoon for the ice cream.

Cindy smiled guiltily. "Oh, that..." she laughed. "What is there to say?"

"Only that he was silent when you said that you loved him!" she said, smiling,"We really have to sort this out. Tell me the exact reaction of him when you told him!"

"Well," she said, "He kind of stuttered and stumbled over his own words...kind of like he was surprised and/or touched...then he almost said, 'I do too,' but stumbled over his words, like he couldn't say it..."

'Well, it could have been that he was shocked in a bad way or that he really loves you too and he was so surprised and happy that he couldn't say anything."

"Well...I went down to see him earlier, and he seemed alright, not like he was awkward in a bad way, like, 'Oh, gosh, she's in love with me...get her away from me.'"

"I think you should go to him and say it again! Say it so many times till you get his answer, I mean he can't be quiet for ever, can he?" Devon asked, taking a spoon of chocolate ice cream.

Cindy laughed and reached for some of the vanilla. "That's why I love you...." she choked, then looked at her in silence for a moment and laughed some more.


Later, she waited until the afternoon before slipping out to the grounds. It had stopped raining, and the sun was shining on the wet grass.
