Edward examined all the fancy silver trays infront of his eyes. His eyes passed the snacks, all the way to where the desserts lie. He eyed a Christmas cookie of a fat jolly looking Santa and said, "That one..." He pointed to it with one of his scissors.

Rachel smiled to him more and picked up the cookie. She was going to hand it to him, but he couldn't hold it. She then jabbed it onto his scissors, so that he could eat it whenever he wanted. She sighed happily and watched him.

Edward lifted the scissorhand that had the cookie on it. He smiled at it with his eyes and lifted it up towards his face ready to bite into the cookie. But suddenly, his hand backed down from his face. He winced a little in pain. Apparently, one of the scissors on his hand, had caught the skin on his face and slashed through it.

Rachel gasped and quickly grabbed something to stop the bleeding. She grabbed a towel and put it on his cut. She took the cookie off of the scissors and looked into his eyes. "I'm sorry..." She whispered, feeling bad.

Rachel looked over to Kili and sighed. "He cut himself." She then looked back to Edward. "I can't believe I did that to you. I'm so stupid..." She gently patted the towel on his cut, taking the blood off of his cut.
