Eleshna glanced around. "But... this isn't exactly the sort of place one rests too easily" She shuddered, the chill of the Shadows still clinging to her despite Jaden's efforts to heal her.

Eleshna took whatever it was that was handed to her for Jaden, and put it in her vest pocket.

Acording to the healers Jaden should have woke up within a days time... But he didn't the time went by and he still had not woken up.


The healing process inside him was taking it's time... but it seemed eficient.

"It's normal for our people to go into a coma when they heal bad wounds." Knox had told Eleshna.

Eleshna listened to Knox for a moment, then bowed her head, as she sat by Jaden's side, hugging her knees to herself. She hadn't moved from her watch of Jaden, except to eat and rest an hour or so.

"I should have been more careful... I didn't want him to have to do all this, it's not necisary..." she mumbled quietly.

It had been three days now... the time in Jaden's mind seeming to blend with memories of past events and visions of things from another life.

A familiar voice then broke out through the confusion, the images began to fade.

Jaden slowly opened his eyes, lokking around slightly disorginized.

"Jaden!" Eleshna smiled slightly, seeing him awake. "How do you feel...?" she asked worriedly almost reaching to take his hand, but pulled her hand back, wringing it with her other hand instead.

Jaden looked at her for a moment... "Kinda like a tree fell on my head... But besides that, yeah it's fine." he said in a joking voice as he attempted to sit up.

Eleshna laughed slightly then pushed him back down by his shoulders gently. "You should rest, don't try to get up just yet..."

She looked at him a while then smiled slightly, "I could never thank you enough for what you have done for me... I just wish... it hadn't caused you so much trouble..."

"It's no trouble.. after all we still have that celibration to go to and we couldn't do that if you died." Jaden replied laying back down.

"You've been the best of friends, Jaden.... and I'm glad we both made it through..." she spoke softly, still with a slight smile.

"What was that Veron said about the other creature?...." she questioned, her gaze cast off to the side.

She smiled and put her hand on Jaden's shoulder. "What matters most is you're awake now... you had me worried there for a while, mellon nin..." she chuckled slightly.

"Any time." Jaden replied letting out a heavy breath.

It seemed like just days ago they had started this journey.. Jadenwould have never thought that it would have taken them to a place such as they were.

The men had mostly went home now, a few of the wounded staying behind for extra rest.

"How soon do you want to move out?" he asked Eleshna, giving the indication that he thought himself able to ride now.
