Jack's eyes finally rocked back over to look at Devina. His hand slid back down to his side very slowly. Something sounded fishy about that last sentence that came out of Devina. He squinted his eyes in suspicion and said, "I'm goin' to tell ye straight out missy...you are a sly lieing dame.."

Jack was now confused, and it could be seen all over his face. He stared at her eyes and frowned his eyebrows. So many thoughts ran through his head all at once that he sat there for a few minutes before he talked, "Why did ye kidnap me then..."

He swayed a little as the ship rocked from the waves, but steadied himself and looked back up into her face. He still kept the distance between them. "Let me get this straight..you have no intention of killin' me?"

Devina watched him for a while, then busied herself in a draw, taking a rum bottle out, and tossing it at Jack with a slight grin "I heard you like your drink." she smiled.

Jack caught the drink with a suprised face. He took a swig in a jiffy before he said to her, "So, just exactly.." He stopped to think. He took another drink then said, "Just exactly are ye plannin' on doin' with me?"

Jack shook his head, well, more like swayed it back and forth. He took another couple deep swallows of the rum and wiped his mouth on his shirt's sleeve. He licked his lips and repeated drinking the rum.
