ugh...everyone's is so much better than mine...it's really just the prologue to a 45-page POTC fanfiction i wrote, so that's why it doesn't seem to have a plot. i know i can't be judged on this, but i would feel better if people read the whole thing, just so they know I'm not as bad of a writer as it makes me sound. the link's www.fanfiction.net/~pirateoftherings

Actually, I like yours pirateoftherings. I think it's way better than mine, but I suppose lots of people think that about there own writing.

I liked it as well. Mines much like yours Pirate. It is also the prologue to a story I've wrote, but have not yet posted on a site.

Oh come on everyone! Don't be so negative. If you use your imagination and put your mind to it, I know you can bring out thegreatest of things. As corny as that sounds, it's true as the day. Btw, thanks everyone for voting for me!
I just wanted to post this for those who haven't read it:
My tale is based upon Greek and Roman method of naming flower after significat tragic deaths and the like. An example would be the tale of Narcissus. Narcissus was a beautiufl lad who refused to fall in love with any maiden. The goddess Nemesis made him fall in love with his reflection in a pool. He woudl not look away from his reflection and so he died. A lovely flower bloomed on the spot where he died and it was named after him. You can read more of this and other stories in the book "Mythology" by Edith Hamilton.
NOTE: Then name Arien is just councidental, the elvish meaning of it matched her appearance and it sounded greek like so I used it.
Explanation of story:
I choose the Pansy as the flower of this myth because this particular flower also represents a weak man or boy and as you can see I have given Pan the traits of a fragile boy and youth. I invented Arien as a way to emphasize those traits and make him appear even frailer next to a strong figure. The rest is just creativity.

YAY! I loved yours Larael. It was beautiful. Very flowing and the end was gorgeous.
