Padme knew he was outside the door and she had some kind of panic. She loved Anakin but she also knew what he had done. Could she do what was necessary when it really counted? Things couldn't go back to the way they were. She couldn't kill Anakin but she couldn't live and see the monster he had become either.

He stood outside the door in a hunched position, still with the hood covering his face. "Open the door.." His voice dripped with the darkside..but somewhere deep inside there, Anakin still was.

Padme went to the door, lightsaber still activated. But she didn't open it. She just couldn't face it. "Anakin...leave," she said with as much defiance as she could muster.

"I will not.." His voice deepened with anger. Then, with a gesture of his hand, he made the metal door slide open. There he stood, in Padme's doorway. The only thing that saved him from her seeing his looks, was his dark hood over his face, and the shadows of the room casting their mark on him.

A chilling voice came out from under the hood. "I'm not asking you to..." His voice trailed off with an eerie laugh. Right now, the darkside hung over him like a storm of clouds.

She didn't like this at all. "What do you want?" Padme must make him believe she didn't love him. A real anger was mustering inside her. After all he had done he couldn't just waltz in here, kill her guards, and invade her bedroom. He had tried to kill her and he had no buisness coming back.

"How dare you!" At this moment, Anakin's anger gripped a tight hold around him and he stepped towards Padme into the more lighted part of the room. His hood was still drawn up, but the burned wounds on his face could slightly be seen. They were a reddish color and some dead skin peeled away from his face. One who laid eyes on these wounds would feel pain deep inside their being.
