"I thought I saw-" Legolas started to say, but was interrupted when an arrow flew right by his head, and imbedded in the tree behind him, and that was accompanied by laughter. "Gotcha again, little brother." Callon said with a smirk as he stepped out from behind a tree, and Legolas glared at him. "Oh shut up, you.." "Don't be touchy about it, Legolas. You have to admit, it was good." Mierwyn said, stepping out from behind another tree, and lowering her bow.

Aranelwen tried to cover a giggle by coughing but it didn't really work and she got a glare from her cousin.
"Well it was a good shot!" she defended herself. "Nice work Mierwyn."

Mierwyn smirked slightly, and leaned on her bow. "Hannon le." she commented, and recieved another glare from Legolas, which she returned.

"Alright, alright." Aranelwen broke into their staring contest. "We had better get going, you two did bring your horses didn't you? Uncle Thranduil said we would be going with Captain Melannen Tirram. Do you know where he is?"

"Of course we brought our horses. And I have no idea where he is, or any of the others for that matter." Callon replied. "But they have to be somewhere nearby, though."

At that moment Melannen rode up at the head of 20 soldiers of the guard. "Nice of you to wait for us before you go hurrying off" he said smiling.

Legolas and Mierwyn looked at him, and when Callon started to reply, Mierwyn elbowed him in the arm, which in turn caused him to bite his lip. Watch it, Cal.. she warned him telepathically, and recieved a glare in return. "Apologies for that.." Mierwyn replied, half to his comment, half to Callon's near outburst.
