I think my favorites are "The Shadow of the Past" and "The Council of Elrond" because I love all the information that's given in them. Yeah, they're long and take awhile to read, but with all the information in them...I don't know, I just love them.

If I had to decide right now I would have to say Many Meetings, Lothlórien and Farewell to Lórien, but that's just because of how I'm viewing them all right now. If you ask me tomorrow I would probably disagree with myself and say that another chapter is my favorite.

It's hard to pick a favorite chapter...The Breaking of the Fellowship was great like a lot of people have already said. But I dunno, I like them all. Yes, even the Council of Elrond. I don't know why people don't seem to like it. I got through it in no time. It wasn't that boring...

You must read the Silmarillion, I've read it twice now and it's really good. A lot of stuff that might not have made sense before will make sense after you read the Silmarillion. READ,READ,READ Elberethsq!!!!!!!!!! 8)
