Sira, dimension traveller, is wandering through this area, when something draws her attention. Her closed eyes cannot see what is the matter, but she steps through the glowing door to this dimension anyway. She senses two figures, and hides behind a tree to listen to the conversation. However, despite her sheilding, she causes a rustle in the autumn leaves....

Cat nods. "Then I shall tell you..... Not too long ago we noticed that someone in this group -- here she waves her hand at the crowd -- was taking on very peculiar habits....." Her eyes glance to Kin, who's eyes are on her. "He started to lurk in dark corners, snapped when anyone talked to him, and gradually began to darken....." Cat's eyes flick back to Isabell and Enyalie. "In 'darken' I mean that his skin slowly seemed to disappear, and his eyes became pits of blackness.... soon he dissolved into a shadow of his former being, a completely black thing....." Her voice hangs in the air, the last word full of the menace it deserves....

Isabell's eyes shifted from Kin back to Cat, her brows wrinkling in confusion as she thought the story over in her head.

" I'm afraid you'll have to give me more information than that. Until I know everything there is to possibly know, I will not help you. Are you familiar with this shadow in any way?"

She was not the kind to rush into an adventure, no threat of danger on her mind whatsoever. Enyalie was hardly that daft as well, but Isabell remained reserved, and slightly confused. She needed to plan things out. To muse on the alternitives and options before running into things. She wasn't a control-freak, just critical, needing logic and truth in all things she did.

Enyalie fought a laugh. Her poor friend was always so cut-and-dried, anything disorganized drove her partially mad. She couldn't remember Isabell in any other way. Of course she would think it over, have it explained again. Enyalie was truly curious as to what Isabell and Cat would, or could, do against what they called 'shadows.' It was certainly a challenge, she mused, and that was undeniable.

Cat looks at Isabell as though she's stupid. "It's called a dramatic pause...... If you can't appreciate patience and the night-time arts, then why in the heck are you a vampire in the first place?!...." She snorts, then goes back to her story. "As I was saying, these things are becoming increasingly more.......seen..... We don't know what's causing the people to become the dark shadows, but we know it isn't good, and that it needs to be stopped...."

" As..if..I..chose..to..be..this.."

"I highly doubt any of us choose to be what we are," Enyalie murmured dimly.

Cat looks at them as though they're insane. She then looks at Kin and he shrugs, looking as mystified as she. "You don't like being a vampire?....." Cat raises an eyebrow. "How odd..... True, it gets a little boring, but there's always some fun t'be had......" Cat has always enjoyed being a vampire, for it gives her endless youth, power, and ways to make things right.....
