"Yes, but I have more!" called Monica from the kitchen. She came out with chips, candy, cupcakes, and cookies. She set them on the floor, then went back and brought out lemonade, strawberry soda, and the diet coke and butterfingers that Alexis had brought. "The popcorn can wait," she said, laughing and sitting down on the floor.

Phoenix had walked to Monica's house from her own, looking at the house numbers. She had never been to Monica's house before. She had resently met Monica and her friends. Being new, Phoenix hadn't made many friends yet.
She walked up to Monica's house, knocking on the door, hard. She then tucked a stray piece of her chestnut brown hair behind her ear.

NAME: Rhiannon Derks
AGE: (I haven't decided yet)
APPEARANCE: Her hair is a fiery red and falls in smooth, straight locks almost reaching her waist. Her eyes are a gray, so dark they look black, and her skin is ivory. She is tall (about 5'9) and is lean and fit -- her friends and family say she needs to eat more, but her doctor has confirmed that she just has an extremely quick motabolism & her stomach is easily filled.
INTERESTS: She loves music; mainly hard rock & classical (instrumental, like Chopin, Mozart, etc). She loves to imagine things and often writes out her ideas. She sings & writes music (haunting foreign-sounding songs), and her favorite colors are black and white. Her favorite place to read (as she is a book-worm -- she loves fantasy mainly: LotR, Narnia, Inheritance Tril., Deprivers, etc) is in the ruins of the old mansion on the back of her family's property, where vines and ferns and all sorts of plants have overtaken the place.
PERSONALITY: She is very imaginitive and often spends hours just day dreaming, but she is also a very social person. She is fun, caring, hilarious, spunky & protective. She loves acting and often goes off on random spurts when hanging out with friends (they've learned to accept this part of Rhiannon), pretending to be some unknown character.

Rhiannon pushed through the branches of a drooping oak tree and hurried across the overgrown feild as the sky above quickly dimmed. She jumped up the steps to Monica's house and smiled at the two people standing there.
She had seen the girl around before -- what was her name, Phoenix? The guy however, Rhiannon had never laid eyes on before now.
"Hi there." She scooted past them and pounded her fist on the door two times before entering.
"Hey Nic!" She called loudly, not knowing where Monica was in the house. Setting her over-night bag in a corner, she called to the newcomers still on the porch, "Come on in, guys." She glanced into the nearest room and then turned back to the others.
"I'm guessing you're here for the party? I'm Rhiannon, by the way, an old friend of Monica's."
