Jaden was pushing allong as fast as he could, using the force to increas his speed in the best way he knew how.

He didn't even notic who he was near anymore, his thoughts, actions, mind, and sight consumed in the force.

It was like a dream almoste, one he could control but not remember all the parts to.

Cilicia slammed ont he thrusters after passing the group and brought himself back up with the rest.

Dropping thrust and inhansing the sideways momentum he slammed anbother speeder out of his way and raced through the hole.

Jaden continued on with his run, using the force to help his speed.

His mind seemed to pick up something darting off infront of him, but he was to emersed in the force to care much about it.

Cilicia raced past another group. He could see Jaden just infront of him. And infront of him not far was Vala and Anakin speeding away like a mad man.

With a couple risky manuvers he pulled along side Jaden and began to gain slowly.

Jaden could sense the presence of his dear friend Cilicia beside him. A smile waxed full on his face as he hit the boosters.

he knew that Cilicia would be watching him and trying to outdoo him. Thats what the two always did... friendly rivalry.

Now they were coming into a long straight portion of the track, the four bunched tightly into two groups, Anakin and Val battling it out in front, with Jaden and Cilicia beginning to catch up. If they had any tricks to boost their speed, this was a prime opportunity.
Val drew on the Force, quickening her reflexes and response time, focusing only on the race and the machines. She felt like the speeder was part of her ... like she had wings ... like the race was an extension of her body. She knew without looking that a green speeder was coming up fast, passing Anakin, passing her ...
She didn't sense the anesthetic dart flying toward her from the passing speeder's pilot ... turned too late ... felt the dart penetrate the muscle between her shoulder and neck ... her shoulders, arms, fingers didn't respond ... the world spiralled into oblivion and she slumped forward onto her speeder's control yoke, unconscious. The speeder plunged onward, now pilotless - towards the next obstacle.

Jaden sudenly felt something go wrong with Val's speeder.

Being emersed int he force the way he was it was easy for him to be able to tell she had lost control.

he took his concentration off the race and began to try to bring her speeder undercontrol. While being sure he did not crash, he did all he could to help her have a safe landing.

Val's speeder careened on, heading for one of the innumerable skyscrapers of Coruscant.

Cilicia saw Val spinning out of control... Hesatently he slowed and used the force as he passed by to try and keep her from crashing, helping Jaden slow her down.

Jaden sped past his range, his force abilities not reachign across th ever growing distance that was seperating him and Val.

Now it was just a matter of fortune in her crash. Jaden's spead was to strong for him to stop intime, there was nothing more he could do for her.
Cilicia also was out of range, racing right along side Jaden.


Val's speeder viered off to the left, just missing a large building. It headed down a streat where she was sent out into a crowd of people.

The speeder slowed as it coasted along, and soon came to an abrupt hualt as it slamed into the side of a local Cantien.

The crash was rough but Val was relatively unscathed. A few cuts here and there and a large bruse on her head. Pai shot through her wrist, it was probably cracked.

Val was thrown out of the speeder when it crashed. Slowly, slowly she regained awareness as the sedative wore off. The first thing she noticed was the sharp twinges of pain in her left wrist. Her vision was still blurry - until she realized that blood was dripping over her right eye from a cut in her forehead. She wiped it away with her good arm, not yet ready to move, but hoping that the incident hadn't affected her team's position in the race.
