AAARGH! CURUNÍR!!!! Please delete the last plane! It has a "Hakenkreuz" on it!!! And it's shameful to know that it's a german plane! Hmmm...this was a german ship used in WWII...It's called "Bismarck", but I dunno anything about it

But don't expect me to know anything about these...

I am sorry, but I won`t and do you know why? Because the finnish air forces(since it is blue, but yes it is a german plane that we got from them) had taken it into use before the nazi`s adopted it and tilted it on the side!

Besides... It`s originally a sign of good luck... and I don`t give a damn because I don`t care if the freaking nazis used it... (no offense, but my straight opinion)

Here`s a site for ya about it...

......Y'know.

Hitler obviously didn't care for History.

If he studied it. He would've realized that fighting two front war with Russia and France? BIG NO NO.

He would've realized that invading Russia is a HUGE NO NO.

That's a good picture. And it's very true that the Nazis "adopted" the swastika (sp?) as their symbol but it has actually been the emblem of good for a long, long time....until the Nazis corrupted it's meaning. And it's a shame...I know this has nothing to do with it but my mum has a gold charm bracelet and on the internet we were looking for some charms and we saw the swastika but my mum wouldn't buy it as she thought people might think she was a Nazi worshipper....I think it's about time this symbol was cleansed and it could be allowed to once again be a symbol of good.

I totally agree, swastika should be seen as a symbol of good luck and fortune(that is why the air forces used it, to bring luck to the pilots you know.. or that was the kinda idea...)

but when stupid people(no offense to anyone whom thinks different about the swatiska than I) see one they think or say: "Freakin nazi!" or something like that, then there are the so called new nazi`s, I mean I`ve been seen a document about them and they are all just stupid.

They have no idea what the real thing probably stood for, they only seemed to think that black people and jews should be kicked in the head and so on. Originally it was a political party not some freaking way of life or something as they seemed to have it...

Yeah, but nowadays it is mostly seen as some kind of symbol of the Nazi's. Even if it actually is something completely different, the Nazi kinda made it their smbol, even if that's horrible. sure, not everyone with a swastika (?) IS automatically a Nazi, I don't believe that (just like the pentagram/pentacle, which is actually the sign of an old goddess(correct me if I'm wrong), not of the devil) but you'll find a swastika with every Nazi.
However....Guys, I need your help. My mom and I went to Prussia last year, to do some researches about our ancestors. (Problem: none of us speaks polish). However, today I saw a movie called "Everything is illuminated", which reminded me of our journey. I think of picking up the trail again. Now...Could you tell me anything about Hindenburg? I know that he lived in Langenau, because he and his wife were friends and neighbours of my great-grandma. While searching for my granny's house we accidently stumbled across a few ruins. After cheking a few things on the internet (comparing old pictures to what I had seen) I found out, that it was Hindenburgs farm-house. It consisted of ....3 or 4 buildings (there were walls of three buildings), two had been destroyed by a bomb ( at least I saw a piece of a bomb next to what was left of a wall )..and now I wanna know a few thíngs about this guy. (All I know is, that the walls in the entrance hall were green and that ,next to the door on the left side, there was a staircase. oh, and they had a small pond next to the house, but that's not very interesting. (Only the stork is important!) Excuse me for boring you.

Kitoky, I share your vision in someway that it was a mistake, but it wasnt really about attacking USSR that was the problem, hitler should have prepared for the winter, he hoped to win the war very quicky you see and have the british sign peace after there were no true threats to the nazi germany...

The world would be undecribingly different if hitler hadn`t put war upon USA with Japan or even supported Japan, prepared better for the war... so on...

btw he never fought france and Russia, use the term allied forces...

AA, I actually think so too that the pentagram is originally a sign of a goddess since the finnish word perkele(a curse word) has been often related to satan, but it isn`t perkele was actually a god of thunder...

Such belief`s have began from the hole crusade kinda mess(I mean crusades were part of these things I think), those who were so called pagans and worshipped their many gods(which for some reason were turned into satan because their religion was different, but perhaps even more brutal and savage(ya know)...)

I must say that these are just my opinions...

A now this matter reminds me of Montsegur :-D A song of Iron Maiden telling about pagan purges... which actually happened I think...
