The first time i saw him I was sure they were contacts, but my friends agrued with me otherwise. Now i love him no matter what.

Also, as you may know, ORC (the One Ring Celebration--it's a lotr convention) is happening in California this weekend. I went to it today, and a few of the lotr people were there. (In the auditorium, there was a stage where at prescheduled times some of them would come out to talk to the audience, and answer questions.) Suffice it to say, I have now seen Elijah Wood (as well as Sean Astin ) in person! At one point, I blew him a kiss, but I don't think he saw me. Ah, well. Still, I'm so glad to have gone! One of the fans who was asking a question got all of us other fans to sing happy birthday to Elijah, since he's turning 25 in exactly a week from now.

Eariel, you´re sooooo lucky. I´m incredibely jealous!
In Germany, there will be the Ring Convention next winter. But the city where it takes place is so far away from where I live, so I have no possibility to get there. I´m even more disappointed because Elijah will be there this year.
I´ve argued so many times with my parents, but I couldn´t convince them to go there with me

Ah well. Eariel, tell us a bit more about the ORC. It sounded really great. And it´s wonderful that you sung happy birthday for him What did he say then?

Aww, poor girl. I wish you could, too. But I'll do my best with telling you about ORC.

One thing was that while the other one of them was talking, Elijah and I believe Sean as well would start doing funny things that sort of distracted the audience from whoever was actually speaking. (For this story you need to know that they had mikes with cords, and that Elijah was wearing a sort of jacket that was open in front.) At one point while Sean was talking (i can't remember what about, though), Elijah did something like (I can't remember this part exactly) putting the microphone, cord and all, behind him and then bringing it back round again. Then, he lifted up his knee, passed it under that, too, and brought it back up. Following that, he made as if to put the mike through the sleeve of his jacket (where it obviously wouldn't go). Even though he didn't actually do this last, the audience started laughing even more than they had been previously. It was then that poor Sean finally noticed, and looked around at Elijah, who stopped distracting us (in one sense, at least ) at that point.

Hope you enjoyed that. Don't you just love him? He's so hilarious! And he was so nice, too. *faints*

Galasriniel: I didn't take much notice of it at the time, but come to think of it, I like that hairstyle.

Btw, who was it on here that mentioned how they liked Elijah's nose? At the convention, I was sitting there looking at him and thinking "Man, he does have a nice nose!" lol! I thought of you guys, and that conversation we had. :rofl:
