"We've got exams to study for, remember," Remus grumbled as he sat down. "And besides I don't think I'll be going to the ball. Balls and me don't mix."

He dropped his bag and rummaged in it for his ink and quill. Smoothing out the parchment, he began working on his Potions essay.

James gave Dani one almost shocked look as he heard what she just said. What was she thinking?! Lily was just there, sitting almost by him. He turned to Dani making sure Lily wouldn't catch his gaze and gave her another, this time annoyed look. He didn't say a thing as the danger was still near. He simply turned back to Sirius, still ignoring Remus, he said "Come on Padfoot, looks like we're not wanted here. Everyone are leaving us, maybe we should find some new friends." he said and grinned to his best friend and taking few steps forward. He ran his fingers trough his hair, making it look messy once again and turned back to Remus "And Moony you will get for that, later. When the exams start, of course. I have this strange hunch that your books will suddenly dissapear." he said seriously. Looking up, he saw his very own vision of perfect once again. Lily was standing by Dani and in one crazy moment, he was even sure that she was looking at him. Without thinking he took few steps towards her, but then he suddenly realized what he is actually doing. Before it was too late he sharply turned to the left and grabbed Fiona "I have to talk to you - now!" he said in one breathe. Then he looked at her friend and said "Please excuse us." without even waiting for Fiona's responce, he basically pulled her out.

Sighing with frusteration towards herself for lack of concentration, she packed her bookbag and started up the hill. After entering the castle, she glanced around to see her friends in the courtyard. Erika walked over hoping for them to take her mind off the ball. "Hi guys!"

"Hey, Fi," said Dani, "Hey, Lena."

"Ah," Lily said,"Looks like we're either going partnerless or asking!"

Dani laughed. "No kidding...in that case, I'm doomed." She caught James's look and gave him one that said, <i>What?! What am I doing?</i>

"Oh, enough, Remus," she said, rolling her eyes.

She saw James come toward her and Lily, then stifled laughter as he went for Fiona and pulled her aside. Stupid James. Always doing something crazy, especially around Lily. She looked at her and raised an eyebrow, laughing. She gave her a look that said, <i>We'll talk about this later in the dorm, like we usually do.</i>

It was true. They were the only ones who knew about eachother's crushes, and talked about them every night in the dorm, when everyone was still in the Common Room, studying. They preferred to study together in the dorms, talking as they did so.

She whipped around and saw Erika. "Hey!" she said, smiling.

Lilly glanced at James, and could have sworn he was looking at her too,"Jame-Potter...Nevery mind..." she said quickly, she had thought of asking him, but nnow wasn't the right moment.

Dani looked at Lily and shrugged. <i>Oh, well,</i> she said in a look.

Sirius raised an eyebrow at James as he pulled Fiona over to one side, he could see what was really happening but he covered it up quick enough.
Sirius shook his head and sat down, breifly glancing at Danni, wehn suddenly an odd sensation filled him, he blinked and looked at her again the sensation leaving him, he shook his head and started to talk to Moony.
"So Moony, ready for another adventure, the you know what is approaching" he said to him grinning, a lookl of mayhem playing in his eyes.

Fiona stood and watched the scene, trying hard not to laugh, she knew who everyone fancied and it was funny to watch them all dog each other, she shook her head as she noticed James walk towards Lily but divert his course towards her.
She was shocked when he pulled her over to one side.
"Potter what's wrong with you?" she asked
