[OH! *gasp gasp gasp* Oh my GOSH! lol ]

Dani stopped his wrist just as he was about to touch the hair by her ear. "I'll thank you not to touch my hair, Sirius," she said, looking him in the eye and smiling her sideways smile. "And unless someone asks me soon, it looks like I'm going to have to stay in my dorm."

She looked up at Fiona as she came into the Hall. "What happened?" she asked, noticing the expression on her face.

As he left Fiona behind, James walked into the great hall with victorious grin on his face. He walked over to the Gryffindor table and sat down on the opposite side of Sirus. He leaned back on the wall and ran his fingers trough his hair saying one single word - "Score."

Dani looked over at James, having overheard his little whisper to Sirius. She looked at Fiona, then shook her head and continued to eat her meat. She finally sighed and got up, saying, "I have a lot of work to do...see you guys later." She went up to her dormitory.

Lily had seen it. She had seen James kiss Fiona. With her own eyes. Without any warning, she burst into uncontrollable tears.

Dani whipped around and saw Lily. She knew why. She put her arm around her shoulders and shot James a particularly nasty scowl before taking her up to the Common Room.

"Dani,"Lily said, through sobs,"Did you see it? Did you see him kiss Fiona?"

Dani shook her head. "No...but I got an idea of what he did. Aw, sweetie, I'm so sorry..." she said, giving her a hug when they were in the Common Room.

This time he just ignored the dirty looks Dani was shooting at him. She used to do that a lot lately. So, some times it was just better to pretend that they are non-existant. He picked up his goblet and took a sip. The thing he couldn't ignore were - Lilly's tears. He really didn't have an idea why she was crying. But that wasn't making the situation any better.

Lily hugged her back,"WHAT am I going to do? If he saw me cry, he'll know!"

Dani bit her lip. "I think he did, sweetie." She patted her back. "It's alright..."

Dani opened her mouth to speak, but paused and looked up as James entered the room.

LIly glared at him as she saw him and looked down.

Something just wasn't letting him to stay on one place. Thoughts were running trough his mind in full speed. Pity, the day started pretty well. Sirius and Remus weren't helping at all. One was taking a nap right there by the tabe and the other one was, just like always, writing an essay.
Image of Lilly's face was still floating in his mind and then he remembered that she was crying. And, he simply needed to know why. Suddenly he stood up and grabbed his bag "See you at the headquarters." he said and grinned to Sirius and Remus.
After just few minutes he entered into the common room. Immediately he realized that Lilly didn't even want to look at him. His heart sanked.
"What did I do now?!" he said to Dani as he waited for the attack.

Dani looked at him, her mouth fixed in a scowl, and decided not to say anything. She simply shook her head and left, waiting to see if Lily would follow her or stay behind and talk with James. Either way, it wasn't her business.

LIly stayed put. She wanted to sort this out,"Potter!" she said, no fear of using his surname,"I was going to ask you today, you know! I was going to come up to you with a bunch of roses and ask if you wanted to go to the ball with me, Potter," she said, pratically spitting the name.
