Eleshna looked towards him with an almost fearful expression. "Keep your distance if it gets too rough.... but other than that, use the dragon blade, since Veron's blades are the only ones effective on his Shadows... "

As they approached, Veron's Shadows seemed to be just a cloud of mist, until the Shadows Eleshna had followed began to move forward, then all start to take form of wisps of the ancient warriors they once were.

Eleshna moved forward and her Shadows parted the way for her until she came to stand before a particular tall Shadow. "Lech...." Eleshna spoke quietly. "Shadow Dancer..." was the only reply given.

A fight seemed to break out between the two groups, and the hisses of voices could be heard, though the words could not be made out, then the clashing of metal began.

Eleshna stood there staring at the form of Lech, her sword drawn and held down at her side as she waited for him to make the first move.

All around Eleshna and Jaden, the fight grew to horrible screeching and growling, a few grabbing at the both of them with an icy grasp, but Eleshna ignored them, keeping her focus on Lech as his shadowy form began to circle her.

Jaden moved over towards Eleshna. He knew she would need all her concentration so began fending off the shadows around her with the Dragon blade.

At times it was hard to tell who was on there side and who was against them, but he managed not to attack any of Eleshna's shadows.

Lech finally stopped his circling and dove in towards Eleshna. She blocked his attack and returned with a swift strike, which quickly delve into Lech's shadowy mid section.

He immediately took a more detailed form as her blade made contact with him, and a few colors even appeared.

What first became visable was an orange glowing jewel, in the shape of a dragon's eye. Eleshna grabbed towards it but recieved a strike at her side before she could reach the stone.

She blocked Lech's blows with all her skill and might, but was rarely able to get her blade in again. Lech's form began to fade, but she managed to grab the jewel and give it a hard yank before being slammed in the side of the head by the Shadow's hilt.

Eleshna stumbled back slightly, then turned, the stone clenched in her fist, and began to retreat, her Shadows following suit and surounding her. She was lost in a mess of shadowy figures, and Veron's Shadow's could not get through.

They then turned on Jaden, the whole of them beginning to suround him. Eleshna tried to break free of her own Shadows, but they held her back, seeing it their duty to keep her and only her safe from the other Shadows.

Jaden fought hard, but there was no way he could overcome all the shadows that faced him now. "At least she go the jewel." he told himself.

"Run!" Jaden yelled to Eleshna as he blocked another attack and stabed a shadow.

Just then a shriek filled the sky as the sounds of wings were herd. Jaden looked up with a smile as Azher swooped down. Jaden jumped on the dragon and was carried away, heading to join back up with Eleshna.

Eleshna was half herded, half dragged by her Shadows at a swift pace away from Veron's Shadows. Finally they allowed her to stop and she sank to a sitting position beneath a tree, breathing heavily.

She opened her fist to look at the jewel and hadn't even realised that the sharp edges had cut into her hand when she had clenched her fist around it.

Eleshna stared at it for a moment and noted that its glow didn't seem to need any light source for its glimmer.

Soon Azher and Jaden caught up with Eleshna and set down not far from her.

Jaden climbed off Azher and ran over to where Eleshna was sitting.


"Are you alright?" he asked, seeing the jewel in her hand, blood on it's edges.

Eleshna nodded, "Yes, I am fine. Are you alright?" she looked at him with a worried expression. "I was very much worried when the Shadows surounded you... thank goodness Azher came when he did..."

"I'm fine." (freeked out insicure neurotic and emotional...lol) Jaden assured her, hidding the stab wound in his left arm.

Eleshna looked doubtful but returned her gaze to examine the jewel. She held it by its chain, and turned it for a moment, her brow furrowed in concentration.

"Well, we should destroy it.... But I'll have to read and find out how" she mumbled quietly, dropping it into Jaden's palm so he could take a closer look as well.

She flinched when she turned to pull the parchment from her satchel then took a deep breath before reading.

Jaden accepted the jewel and looked it over carefuly.

It was an expertly made piece.

"What does it say?" Jaden asked her as she red through the book.

"It says...." Eleshna raised a brow. "We need to find a silversmith shop.... it'll have to be melted to be destroyed properly." She replied after reading a few more lines.

She look at the jewel in his hand then noticed blood slipping down from his arm. "Are you wounded?" she questioned with a worried tone, a look of almost fear in her eyes as she knew what a wound from a Shadow's blade could do, though she ignored her own wounds, being somewhat protected by her sword.

Eleshna placed the jewel in her pocket but took hold of his hand at the same time, pushing his sleeve back to look at the wound. "Jaden... you don't know how serious it could actually be...."

She had him sit down as she poured water over the wound, her expression concerned. Pulling out a phial of clear liquid she poured it over the wound then wrapped his arm carefully with a clean cloth. "That should do it..."

"We need to hurry..." Jaden protested.
After Eleshna was finished he covered his arm with his sleave.

"Thankyou." you said looking over to her.

She looked at him, managing a slight smile, "you're welcome"
