Yeah she got kicked! The band wrote her an open letter, which you can read here: http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Open_Lett ... ja_Turunen
She also wrote an open letter as a response: http://www.tarjaturunen.com/en/tarjaletter.html

OKay listened to a few Charon songs. Couple older ones, couple new.
They're okay...not quite what I was expecting. They're very HIM/Entwine sounding.
Tarja got fired for being a complete Diva. But...I've already spoken about my feelings on the situation enough.
So Ima sush.

I think they are kinda the same subject, but I think they are kinda darker and sound more like heavy metal than HIM... but thats just my opinion...
and I just go for rock sometimes, rock/heavy metal my music...
but anyway...
Any bands you would recommend? Usually I listen to bands that have clear singing(not some shouting that you can`t regonize as words)

If you prefer melodic vocals and less grrrwlll.
Elvenking, Dragonland, Turisas, Tarot (Marco Hietala's other band), Sinergy(female fronted power metal),..pretty much anything that's been mentioned in this thread or the Power Metal thread over in the Music section.

Wow thanx Raivynn, I'll definitely check those out. I have listened to Elvenking before, but maybe I just picked the wrong tracks to listen to because I didn't find them that appealing. But maybe I'll give them a second chance lol

I absolutely adore Elvenking.
I'd recommend downloading Pagan Purity, Skywards, Pathfinders and Oakenshield.

I havent heard of many of the bands recently posted, i'll have to check them out I would like to recomend Olympos Mons. Theyre poetic power metal. All i've heard is some samples but they sound really good. Only thing is that the vocalist has a very heavy accent.

Raivynn... does the fact that the songs of therion arent all the clear from some lyrics bother you? I mean I don`t know if it`s me or do I have to listen really listen to get the lyrics? For example in Morning Star and Black Diamonds, excellent songs by the way

Not at all. Lyrics are very important to me...but I can listen to a song without knowing what they are or what they're about.
Therion are just really enjoyable to listen to.
