It was odd hearing his name on her tongue. Someone who enjoyed being what they were.

" And despite what you are, you're going to fight for God's creatures?" Her voice was light and contemplative..Her eyes traced the lining of the floorboards below her feet, lost in thought.

A small smile spread across her face smoothly, something that had been often neglected and mis-used for sarcasm. " Then I'll be helping them..not you." Despite the way she worded it, she hoped Cat would respect her answer. If destroying these things would put her on good terms with him..and help the humans..she figured it wouldn't entirely be a waste of time. Being deemed a hero and rewarded meant as much to her as maggots. She could get money if she wanted. Being a 'hero' was nearly impossible for her status..and keeping such reputation was the same.

The thought drifted in her thoughts for a while, God. Why did the name just seem to stand out now? Flicking her eyes to Cat's, she said, "Why are they worth saving? What has God ever done for us?"

" Give you life?" Though the question was not directed towards her, she yeilded to her tongue. The words flowed out quickly, but remained calm. Though Isabell was never close with God, she held a keen respect for him--Ironic, because she was forsaken.

Isabell drew quiet once more, gaze shifting elsewhere. She had no desire to further a discussion of such content, but instead she felt a need to rest. She knew that Enyalie would perhaps retort back with something along the lines of sarcasm and enmity towards her current circumstances. It was not unusual to blame a higher power when one could not take it upon themselves instead, she herself did it. Nevertheless, it was a tried and weary debate, one that never held a winning side, and so she sighed inwardly.

" Do you have any place where I could sleep before nightfall, Cat?"

Cat looks at Annwyn and nods. "Yes, I do...." She then turns to look at Enyalie. "People say that vampires made a pact with the devil.... The first ones did, it is true..... But I pledged my soul, my new abilities, and my new life to God and His service.... He will reward me when the time comes......" Her eyes flicker slightly. "He can do the same for you.... You do not have to be forsaken any longer...... For it was only through vampires' evil deeds and the deeds of the first vampire that we were forsaken.... Each person controls their owen destiny, wouldn't you agree?....."
