Haily turned around, her eyes now dry, and said, "No, I don't. My family died, so I've lived on the streets for a while now...." She looked at the ground, then asked "Do you? If you don't want to answer, then you don't have to..." she added, quietly, not wanted John to suffer any more, like he had before.

Haily looked at John and was silent. "I'm sorry..." she said, because she had only been on the streets for a year or so.... and most of the time was not alone.

Haily looked at John and his tears and replied with a slight smile. "Yes, they were... they loved eachother very much, and loved me and my brother, too..." Tears filled her eyes yet again, and this time, ran down her cheeks. "And...I...I miss them....so much...." She stopped smiling, and sunk to her knees, crying.

Kara sighed and took out her cell phone, a long time later. She decided that she was going to text Thomas. She was feeling really bad about just leaving him. She wrote, 'I'm sorry for being so stupid... I was just upset that I was leaving everything behind. Did you read the letter I gave you?'

Thomas had found the letter and now sat quietly on his bed with the letter in his hands, he spinned the paper around in his hands yet not shredding it and then placed it on the table as Kara texted him. He read it with a faint smile and then texted back.

Yes... but I guess I didn`t want to see you leave really...

Thomas texted back and then closed his cellphone, he layed on his bed staring at the roof for sometime.
