The Return of the King was definetly my favourite. How can you not love a movie that makes u cry, laugh, and jump within 3 hours? I got more into this movie then the others, i guess because it was the last, and I didn't want it to end.

ROTK, it was so moving and incredible!! not the extended version though, I prefer the normal one

Hmmm I would have to go with ROTK. Though I love FOTR, for it is just so happy in the beginning!

FotR because it was the closest to the book. I like RotK the least unlike most people here. I found it to be a little too cheesy. They're all great movies though

I can't decide which one is my favourite, because each one has got something special about it, which I really like. FotR e.g. gives most information about the different cultures of Middle Earth (especially of the Elves).
TTT is the darkest movie of the three and the sadest one in my opinion, but it's a bit too far away from the book.
RotK is most like the book which is a great + but the battle of Minas Tirith is a bit too long in my opinion.

It's hard - i try to think of them not as 3 movies but as 1 whole v e r y l o n g m o v i e ! ! ! ! he he! like tolkien would have wanted! i know my Dads fave is TT because of the battle of helms deep... if i had to choose one id choose that one...!
