Eleshna climbed down and immediately sat down, hugging her legs close to herself and bowing her head to her knees wearily.

She didn't even take the time to glance around, her weariness overcoming her fear and worry.

"Can you stay watch all night?" Jaden asked Azher.
The great Dragon gave a motion of acceptance and went off to stand guard while the two slept.

Jaden found a spot near by and pulled out his sword. Laying down with his sword gripped firmly in his hand he soon drifted off into a deep sleep.

Eleshna soon awoke, unable to keep asleep for long, and laid flat on her back, one knee drawn up as she stared towards the sky, naming to herself the constallations.

It had been a long time since she had done such a thing and it calmed her, helping her to forget for just a moment all that was happening.

She smiled to herself slightly, but it faded when she remembered the seriousness of why she was there at that time. Eleshna let out a quiet sigh and stared towards the stars silently.

Jaden opened his eyes in alertness as he herd a soft sound.

"Your paranoid... Azher is standing guard." he told himself silently.

Looking around he saw that Eleshna was on her back...seing as how she had never slept on her back he though it strange but drifted off to sleep again.

Eleshna thought she had heard Jaden stir, but when she glanced over it seemed he was still deep in sleep.

Her thoughts settled on him for a moment then drifted again as she stared silently towards the stars, her hands behind her head and her hearing attuned to her surroundings.

Jaden opened his eyes again and looked around. The sun woudln't be up for another thirty minutes... but no mater how tiered he was he couldn't seem to back to sleep.

Eleshna shook her head, sitting up and hugging her legs to herself, her chin resting upon her knees.

"Tired, but I can't sleep." She let out a quiet laugh, though it drifted into a sigh as she looked up again at the stars, their beauty silent and peaceful, greatly contrasting the trouble in their lives now.

"I know how you feel." Jaden dismayed. Managing a slight smile he looked up to the stars as well in respons to Eleshna's diversion of her gaze.

"I wish life was as peacefull as that looks up there." Jaden stated as he gazed into the sky.

Eleshna smiled slightly at his words. "A do I..." She glanced towards him then returned her gaze to the stars.

"During my enslavement, I would sit late into the nights, just staring at the stars, and just the sight of them would my escape from it all..." She smiled softly, her voice quiet as she tilted her head slightly, her gaze upward.

Jaden looked back down to the ground. "Do you ever wish it could just all be over... that you could just die?" Jaden asked softly, something inside of him seeming to rip as he spoke the words.

Eleshna stared towards the ground with a slight nod. "There have been many times when I have wished that..."

She went over and sat beside him, putting a hand on his shoulder. "But I cannot wish that anymore... I won't allow myself to, because I have too much to live for now. I have a friend who would be willing to stand by my side till the end, and that is something worth living for"
