Eleshna shook her head. "No, but you saving my life has expressed it well enough for me... and freeing me from Veron."

She glanced towards the stars for a moment then to him again with a slight smile.

"We all wish that," Eleshna answered with a slight nodding, her eyes again drifting to gaze at the sky. "We all wish our past would have been different, or that we can forget it, but it's never that easy."

"But once this is over, perhaps we can try again to get on with semi-normal lives" she smiled slightly.

"Not too long after dawn perhaps..." Eleshna's expression again grew serious as the matter of moving on was brought to the surface of her thoughts.

She wanted to stay there longer though. Wanted the night to last on for a while longer while she sat beside the only one she could ever care for and stare towards the stars, her escape from her thoughts.

Jaden felt like any words he might utter would be usless, as if somehow there was nothing that he could say.

He didn't like that feeling. Although the moments peacefulness and the company seemed to take away from the discomfort.

"Perhaps we should move on now." Eleshna suggested. She leaned over and kissed his cheek, standing as she smiled for a breif moment

She turned, walking a distance to gather her blanket and pack it away into her satchel.

Jaden got up and walked over to Azher who was not far from Syndar. "What was that for?" he asked Eleshna.

Eleshna glanced at him, a slight blush creeping to her face, but she faced away while she placed her pack on Syndar.

"Er... I'm sorry?" She let out a slight nervous laugh and leapt into Syndar's saddle. "No reason I suppose..." she shrugged slightly, keeping her gaze cast down.

Eleshna seemed a little puzzled, at herself. She shrugged the thoughts away and nudged her heels into Syndar's sides, encouraging the horse to a steady trot.

Jaden looked over as they rode along... "Hey... If we don't make it throug this..." Jaden said, knowing that there was always that chance. "I want you to know that you mean more to me than any one I have ever known."

His gaze fel straight ahead and silence took him after those words.

She shifted her gaze again forward with a slight smile yet a determined expression.

It seemed every time one was depressed the other had words of incouragement... "Yet I need tobe told the very thing I tell others." Jaden scolded himself silently.

"How far til mount doom?" Jaden asked Eleshna, not knowing the area very well.

Eleshna pondered for a moment before answering. "See those peaks?" she pointed towards distant hills.

"Those are the Ash mountains," she continued. "We'll either travel beside them, or go over them, entering Mordor, and then travelling on towards Mount Doom... perhaps a few day's travel"
