Eleshna's smile faded slightly as she nodded, turning her gaze forward again. "That is a sad thing indeed.... I have barely a memory of who my parents were... all erased, but I guess that is why I do not have the ability to miss them as much..."

She pondered this with a slight sigh, her expression again troubled, but she turned to look at Jaden again. "I'm sorry time was so short for you and them..."

Eleshna looked at him for a moment longer before returning her gaze forward. "Whatever I could remember of when I lived with my family.... my years under service to Veron... basically I just finished racing through the memories of my life..."

She chuckled slightly to herself, smiling somewhat ruefully. (o.o favorite word lately... haha)

Eleshna looked over with a slight smile again, "Not sure... perhaps hang around with my only friend... Other than that, there is no life waiting for me, so I don't plan for it..."

"Sounds familier... I can't emagin what I'll do... Desides what you already stated." he replied with a slight smile with his last words.

"My whole life I have spent running from that thing. Now that it's gone... I don't know what to do."

"Well, Valar willing, we'll spend the idle time we'll have, together..." Eleshna spoke with a slight smiled then glanced around as the noon sun had drifted already to a sunset.

"Well, it seems we've come to the Ash Mountains..." she stated as she glanced over the mountain range they had arrived to. "I think we should go over, through one of the passes, to save time."

"Yeah." Jaden said in agrement to her first statement.

Looking up at the mountains he tried to remember the last time he had been in mountains... but it had been a LONG time.

"I agree." he confirmed. "The quicker the better."

Eleshna urged Syndar into a trot again, though it ended up being slow since the pass was steep and the horse often slipped down trying to get his footing on loose rocks.

Suddenly behind them on the planes they had left came an ear shattering screech. Eleshna didn't even dare look behind. She knew what it was and so did Syndar, as the horse picked up speed, keeping blance by way of anything he stood upon, fear driving the steed.

Azher quickened his pace as the screach was herd, making all hast and being sure not to run over Syndar and Eleshna.

The pass was close, but not close enough, as a shadow loomed over them and landed in their path.

Syndar turned of his own accord, but Eleshna quickly took control again, aiming the horse to go straight for the creature.

The creature sent a line of spear like spines towards all of them, though Eleshna steered Syndar away last minute, urging the horse to breakneck speed until the made it past the creature.

Turning aside, Eleshna cought sight of a small cave, the likes of which were scattered all throughout those mountains, and head for there, leaping off Syndar and grasping the reins, leading the horse deeper in to safety.

Jaden followed Eleshna, but for the life of him could not get Azher to come with him. The dragon stayed outside to confront the beast.

Eleshna looked towards the opening of the cave, one hand still gripping Syndar's reins as the horse pranced.

Subconciously she reached over and gripped Jaden's hand, her attention still locked upon the battle going on at the entrance.

The creature came upon the dragon, its massive black wings spread outwards, giving the illusion that it was looming twice the size over the dragon.

Jaden took Eleshna's hand and held it tight.

"We need another way out." he stated looking around. But there didn't seem to be anything nearby.

The fight outside went on for a short time, each creature make carefull and skillfull attacks. But soon Azher made a flurry of attacks and took off towards mount doom, the creature in it's anger chasing after him.

Eleshna, still holding Jaden's hand, though not realizing it quite, rushed out the entrance and watched as the creature and the dragon took off for Mount Doom.

"Didn't the book say we needed the blood of a freshly killed dragon?" She questioned, though not knowing where they would find one for such a task. "How are we to kill it?"

Jaden followed out, pulling her back a little to be sure that the creature did not catch sight of them.

"I don't know... But first we will have to finde one." Jaden replied.
