"Yes, Commander," said a Lieutenant. Reia bent over another monitor.

Reia stood poring over the charts and monitors, lips moving soundlessly as she sorted out information. Usually she was in her personal office or quarters at this time, but this was a crisis. Suddenly, she remembered that she had left her gloves in her desk, and walked to her office. She opened the door, but felt like she shouldn't go in....she, by instinct, jumped back - a second later, a small detonator had gone off in the office room. She made a shocked face, then switched on her comlink. "Red one, red one...Viceroy, this is Antilles...an explosive has just gone off in my office."
