James frowned a little as Lilly left him by the table. But he knew that she'll be back. He wasn't quite sure how he knew that, but he did. He reached for an apple and took a humongous bite. Turning back to Sirius and Remus he raised his eyebrows. Both of them were somewhat... Different. He couldn't define it.

Dani made a face as if she had just told her something comically gross. She laughed and shook her head, saying, "No. Look, I've had a couple of run-ins with him, and it's kind of obvious that he thinks of me as little more than another half-Muggle witch - barely a friend, just another face. No thank you."
