Remus cleared his throat. "Nothing, Prongs. I'm fine."
A few of Sirius's admirers sidled closer as if she wanted to talk. Picking at his potatoes, he pointedly ignored her. This was not the first time girls used him to get at the more handsome Sirius and James. Nor would it be the last. He glanced askance at Fiona and felt a stab of envy. It was just so easy for Prongs and Padfoot....
Quickly, before you lose your courage.
He cleared his throat again. "Fiona? Will you meet me outside after dinner?"

James continued looking at Remus as he took another bite of the apple. His friend was keeping something from him and that just didn't feel right. Remus was always secretive person, but... And then as Moony turned to Fiona, James realized. He grinned not moving his gaze from Remus. This was unexpected opportunity. He just nodded to Fiona making sure that Remus didn't realize. And then with a flow of the gentle breeze he saw that Lilly sat by him once again. And there, behind her, was Dani, of course...
