What does the mod team think of installing a sticky thread saying something like "Congrats on your new rank!" where people can celebrate becoming an Elf, Maia, Vala...whatever. People keep setting up their own threads (which isn't wrong at all) in Your Life or Misc. Randomness, but maybe it would be a little tidier if we had one thread to celebrate.

Yes, I agree with Gwen's idea!
I hated it when my Vala post count thread was neglected into the abyss of the posts on page 2 and further in the Randomness thread

Good idea Gwen! I haven't made one of those threads for awhile because it felt a bit pointless making a brand new thread for every thousand mark.

It would also cut down on the mannny threads in misc. randomness (as Galas said, stuff gets lost within a day)

It Is a good idea. Also the thing about sticky'ing a thread is that no matter how plainly visible it is, people still feel the need to start a new one *sigh*

Ummm, how about Misc. Randomness...Your Life already has a bunch of stickies, doesn't it?

I know what you mean, Jo. Even though a thread was stickied for Advice, people post there own threads for their problems.
