Eleshna shook her head. "Just a gash on the forehead but nothing that I cannot handle," she answered with a slight smile.

She returned the flask to her satchel then crouched again to Jaden's level, looking in his eyes. "You feeling alright now? I hope I have removed every bit of it, but there's always a chance some was left behind, though that would be rare I'm sure..."

"I realy don't want to stay here any longer than we have to." He dismayed looking around at the desolate place. "Besides I trust you not to push me to hard." he smiled looking back innto Eleshna's eyes.

He nodded in agreement and moved over to Azher to climb on for there return journey.

"It seems like just so recently we started... and yet it seemed then like it would never come to an end." he commented after he was on Azher.

Eleshna nodded while she climbed upon Syndar. "Yes... the end seemed no where in sight, but perhaps now, we can find peace."

She smiled wistfully, her gaze cast forward towards the land past the mountains, her eyes glistening with a distant longing.

"I sure hope so..." Jaden said in a quieted voice as he urged Azher forwards.

It seemed so close now... he couldn't wait until he knew for sure that they were free from there troubles!

Eleshna urged Syndar forward, and as the night fell to consume the land in darkness, she was silent, not casting her gaze even once towards the dead lands around them.

They soon came through the short mountains and Eleshna turned Syndar to the well beaten path to avoid an encounter with the dead marshes.

Jaden followed along slowly on Azher, not knowing as well where he was going.

Eleshna looked over at Jaden with a smile. "Only wondering what we're to do with freedom... I was concidering we could visit Lothlorien, somewhere were I have longed to see, but I was restricted..."

She glanced towards the stars, pulling Syndar to a halt. "Perhaps we should rest for the remainder of the night. It might wear you down too much if we keep going"

Jaden started to disagree, out of habit... but then realized that this time there was no need to keep going. He nodded in agreement and began to climb down off Azher.

"That's not a bad idea... I have never been there myself." he replied to her sugestion of visiting Lothlorien.

Eleshna smiled as she dismounted Syndar. "I heard it was the most lovely and most peaceful place within middle earth... even after the departure of most of the elves."

After removing her satchel from Syndar, she released the steed to graze, then leaned against a tree, her arms folded as she lifted her gaze to the stars.

"That would be nice..." Jaden said half way to himself.

He looked up to see the stars shinning down as usual... but this time they seemed more... different. This time he actualy could focus on them... without having to listen for danger, and keep half his attention diverted for cation. It was something he had not been able to do for a very long time.

"I owe you everything I have you know?" Jaden said. Before even giving Eleshna a chance to reply he added.
"I know you don't think it's true and that you think I have done as much for you as you have done for me... But I think... you owuld have found a way to live a normal life even without my help."

Eleshna tilted her head slightly to look at him. "No, Jaden, I wouldn't have. My past would have caught up with me sooner or later."

She took his hand, looking into his eyes, her green ones shimmering as she smiled. "I owe you as much as you owe me, Jaden, and all that is left can be repaid by way of the times we can promise to share together in peace."
