Fav lines? Gandalf "Some that die deserve life and some that live deserve death. Do not be so quick to judge, because even the Wise cannot tell. There are other works in this world, not evil."
Arwen; "I'd rather spend one lifetime with you, then face all the ages of the world alone."

Aragorn for the poll.
I can't think of a quote from the books or movies..so I'll post one of my favorite of Tolkien quotes.
"And human beings are rare indeed" (Talking on the subject of males fighting in the war.)

Arwen and Aragorn are my favorites all the way!!!!!!!!! Those are my two favorite characters, as you can probably tell by my username/signiture/avatar. Heehee. And my favorite parts of the movies are really about anything to do with Aragorn and Arwen.

My choice: Aragorn; not because he is my favourite, but because he was destined to be king. In the movies a slight hint is made towards this... but in the books you can read all about the predictions, the dreams which brought all races to Rivendell, the words by Gandalf (all that glitters ain't gold, all who wander are not lost), etc... it is in essence the whole drive in the books. the red wire.

I can think of maybe 3 people as King: Aragorn, Legolas, or Sam.
Aragorn, because, duh, he's King of Gondor.
Legolas because isn't his father King of Mirkwood?I read that somewhere...
Sam because he's kind of got experience, being Mayor of the Shire.

There is no 2nd choice. It must be Aragorn. No one else could do it like him.

My favourite quote of Arwen from the movie would have to be:
"It is mine to give to whom I will. Like my Heart." - I think thats how it goes.
As for feminine charaters of LOTR, Arwen is my #1 then Galadriel. I never really liked Eowyn since I read about her in TTT.

"All you have to decide is what do do with the time that is given to you."
Thats my fave saying in the movie.
I believe that Aragorn should be the king of the world and no change should come to the that. Even though Gimli is the best

Random fact: There is just one vote for Frodo. And it was not mine!

Eowyn and Arwen are tied for me. I think Eowyn is awesome because she slayed the Witch King, and overall, is really great. Arwen is great because she kind of brings the world of Elves to reality(anyone get that). She makes it seem more real.

Are you talking about the movies or the books?

I chose Aragorn. I mean, I love Leggy and it would be great him ruling the world but let's face it: Ara is a better leader :D
