I was wondering if we could have a section for art and fanfiction/poems. A lot of us are really talented, and I'd like to see some of the greatness!

Yes, a fanfiction section would be nice.. not that I write fanfiction but I'm sure we've got lots of talented writers here in A-U!  _________________ <center>

Surprise! The Webmaster already has a Fan section on her site. It's just not in the forum. You can find it on the main site, where even more people can see. http://www.arwen-undomiel.com/fan.html She has a list for where you submit your stuff, and seconts for fan art, avatars, banners, icons, wallpapers, fanfiction, poetry...

No, I'm talking about other fanfics. Like stuff that don't have to do with LotR. It can be in the Life outside LotR forum or something.

I don't think they mean that kind of Art/Fanfiction. I believe they're talking about an actual section in the forum. Maybe to post artwork and wanting comments about it from others, and maybe fanfiction to get feedback. And some maybe to beta for each other, etc.
I don't see anything wrong with such one being created.

[font=Times New Roman, serif][/font] Hey, I was just wondering if we can submit fanart to the fanart page... I mean, it says we can, so I emailed my pictures to the site. But that was three weeks ago, and nothing's come of it. I'd raelly like to see my art up on the site, but the person to whom I sent the email totally ignored me. Is that normal? Should I expect to wait even longer, or has my email been deleted?[/img]

Your e-mail is sent to the webmaster of the site, and because she is a very busy girl, you'll probably have to be patient for your fanart to be added. But nonetheless, it WILL be added, regardless of the time.
As of late, our webmaster had been working on the new layout which probably means adding things to the pages at the same time will be stressful. But she'll add your artwork in due time.

well she doesn't have a completely non-LOTR page for fanfics, but the POTC site has a fan page as well. i've actually submitted a POTC one (back in May *cough*), but it hasn't gotten put up yet, so i sympathize, Chopek! I suppose we shall just have to wait our turns...

plus with it being on the forum you can get input or critique when you need it.
I'd like to post drawings on here for people to pass their comments to help me improve my artwork. Yay cristisism

Yea, I agree. Even though there is a part of the site where there is fan fic/art, I want there to be a place where I can post my own stuff, and then read/view other's stuff.
The webmaster is very busy. I mean, I submitted my art in... July, I think. Sometime in the summer. She did say she was going to post it up, but since she is so busy, it was never posted. I don't blame her at all, I completely understand how busy she is, but I think it would be best for all of us if we could post up our own stuff on the forums and get reviews and critique right away
